Honeymoon & Birthday Celebration at Tioman

What a wonderful trip to Tioman ! We spent 3D2N in Tioman Berjaya Beach Resort packed with activities and sweet memories for our long overdue honeymoon and celebrating my birthday at the same time.

First Day ( July 11th 2007 )
On the first day, we board the Berjaya plane from Terminal 3 Subang Airport at 8.00 am and reached Tioman Island in less than an hour. We were fortunate that the occupancy was low on Jul 11th ( Wednesday ) as it is right in the middle of the week and managed to check into the chalet right away upon arrival.

Soon after settling the luggage, we took a short nap, and by the time we went out to search for food, it is already noon .. so we did "brunch" instead in one of the local restaurant after taking a 'cab' to somewhere in Kg Tekek. Sempat lah jalan2 tengok cenderahati untuk di bawa pulang... then lunch kat one of the restaurants in Kg Tekek. After that, kami berjalan-jalan keliling Berjaya area and ambil gambar sakan ...

Later in the afternoon, we spent time at the beach till sunset with Eddie taking countless counts of our pictures ... recording every moments of our joy at the beach ...

At night, we dressed to kill and blowed the candles for my birthday ... really so sweet of my abang planning for my birtday celebration that night ... we didn't expect to get a FREE birthday cake from the resort ! That was another pleasant surprise for us...

2nd Day ( July 12th 2007 )

Snorkeling Trip ... 6 Islands Hop ... we hired a private boat that brought us around the islands, enjoying the corals at our own pace. Lunch at Kg Salang was also superb. Lauk pauk sedap and ikan fresh ...

By end of the day, we were all looked so worned out and tired . .. the whole body felt sore and all of us had a nice natural sun-tan after the whole day out in the sea .. .but it is all really worth it. That was my very first time snorkeling and I was just speechless seeing the colorful fishes swimming around me, and the beautiful corals under the sea ... I was really amazed with God's creation underwater ...

But .. despite the whole day in the sea, we were all still inspired to dress up and took our last shots of photos by the sea, capturing the sunset by the beach and enjoy the sound of sea currents ...

We even took the midnight walk by the seaside and took a short nap on the beach lazy chairs befor heading back to the chalet for the night sleep ...

Last Day ( July 13th 2007 )

We already drained all our energy to the last drop .... body sore all over from the snorkeling trip .. faces got the nice sun tan

and we are all ready to go home ...

The holiday in Tioman was really great.. we made friends with the locals and the tourists ...the food there was fantastic... and the weather there throughout our stay was really nice ...

Sayonara Tioman .. we'll be back ... one day ... with the whole troop
